3 Gideon Rose from Croydon , Surrey: Your right Sue (From Liverpool)...80s comedies did have a theme "Where it was more about relationships than about comedy, although there were some really good comedy moments. It was subtle in the same way as 'Just Good Friends' which is also about that on screen chemistry between two characters".....That's what makes 80s comedies superior to today's sitcoms which are very two dimentional , and contain no subtle , intelligent characterisations...Spot on Sue.

1 Harrymarway from Goodmayes,Ilford: a pure british comedy and very funny. sam and daphne have this elegant appeal and always try to match each other in there words and attitude. good watching..bye for now..
