22 Don from Ottawa, Canada: The Two Ronnies were (but because of recordings) are simply better than any other "on the line" comic actors. Personally their musical sketches are the result of minds of comedy, however the two of them in sketches so tongue twisted, so fast, so well connected, require repeat playings to grasp it all.
21 gail from midlands: I love the Two Ronnies! grew up watching repeats of them with my own Uncle, who is called Ronnie. We used to laugh so much, and Ronnie C. was my favorite when I was little. As I got older, I thought Ronnie B. Was the better of the two, his wordplay was nothing short of genius and I miss him even now. RIP Ronnie Barker, you're still sorely missed.
20 paul miles from cardiff: they were the best double act ever 2 grace our screens i cant get enough of watching them legends. my fave sketches include fork handles and the musical sketches where they sing in rhymes promenade sketch ices ices winkles. also where there dressed as roadsweepers singing some body has 2 fo it and somebody decided that its us love 2 see that again. and th allice in wonderland musical just seen that now xmas day on bbc1 exercelnt stuff.
19 jacqui c-w from bournemouth: Not only were they funny but also very clever. The hours that must have gone into writing, rehearsing and filming every week. Messers Barker & Corbett played off each other so well and were equally great together or solo. I remember them coming to Bournemouth in the 70's to film. Could watch them time and time again and never be bored. Always thought Ronnie B should have been knighted for his years of making the public laugh. Producers today certainly dont make comedy like this anymore and probably never will again.
18 Maz from Wales: I absolutely love the two ronnies, and they're still just as funny today -which is rare!
I haven't got a particular favourite sketch as they were all great, but i thought the serials wer'e absolutely hilariou and also Ronnie Barkers monologues. R.I.P Ronnie Barker - and thank you for providing us with some of the best comedy this country has seen.
17 Andy L from Lincs: Four Candles. RIP Ronnie, sadly missed.
16 meryl heasman from sheerness, kent: Not many comedy seies can compete with this well written comedy. Articulate, hilarious, it`s stood the test of time. Ronnie Barker is very missed by many. from Meryl Heasman CATFLAP MUSIC.
15 Jeff from Kalamazoo, MI, USA: I used to watch the Two Ronnies as a young teen back in the 1970's. Re-runs of the show were broadcast by the local PBS station. Although I didn't understand all of the references and sometimes couldn't decifer the the accent, I remember the show fondly and thought it was hilarious.
It wasn't until I heard about Ronnie Barker's death that I remembered the show. I've been searching the internet and reliving great memories.
14 Scott from Newcastle - Upon - Tyne: I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Ronnie Barker's tragic passing - and although I'm only a young boy of 23 I particularly love three of their sketches.
The Swedish Made Simple one is priceless and the sketch when they played George and Sid and Ronnie Corbett was swindled into buying a duck was very funny.
But, my all time favourite was the ballroom dancing finale which featured Mrs. Ronnie Corbett - Anne Hart.
Thanks for the joy you brought, Ron. Sleep tight and love to all your friends and relatives - especially David Jason and Ronnie Corbett.

12 Jennie from Suffolk: Its great to see the two ronnies on tv. I hate all these modern day soap operas! But Im sure i'm not the only one in my school who watches them!!
They are great!!!!
11 Frank from Exeter, United Kingdom: The F.U.N.E.X. sketch was superb! They were brilliant and the BBC DVDs are brilliant, just like going back to the 1970s when I was a child. In that sketch, Ronnie Barker is a Swedish language teacher, all deadpan as he explains to a student how to learn English. F.U.N.E.X. means 'Have you any eggs'.
10 patricia collenett from holyhead: my fond memories of the 2 Ronnies is the fork handles sketch. I remember my late husband being bent double with laughter over that one, such a wonderful memory,,,thanks 2 Ronnies
9 harrymarway from Goodmayes Ilford: hi these to are awesome. love the sketch where the women run the world and the men stay at home in there old dresses. That is just SUPER.. includes Diana Dors in it..
8 Matthew from Somerset: Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett are brilliant. Ronnie Corbett's monologues are excellent and a joy a watch.
7 Ellen Rodgers from Derry: i love the two ronnies very much and my kids realy love the show its the highlight of the week. i love all the songs they did at the end of the show.
6 JON-O from AUCKLAND NZ: its good to hear that the two ronnies are comming back.
in this day and age where television programmes are cheap and annoying rubbish, namely these reality tv shows which now proliferate our screens everywhere we turn, it is going to be good to see something like the two ronnies back on the telly once more, and after such a long abscence i might add too, allthough having said that, new zealand probably wont get the new episodes for a while yet im assuming, unfortunately (for me and all the fans down under that is.)
the return of these veteran comedy performers, will bring back to tv something which has been lost for many years, and that being real humour, or humour as i remember it
i grew up watching the two ronnies, and there regular routine of silly sketches, jokes and gags never failed to amuse me once.
and as well as being entertaining, the two ronnies have also been inspirational to many an amateur and professional comedian alike, such as myself.
certainly when it comes to favourite and inspiring parts of the show, the silly news articles were always good, and i shall be looking forward to a return in vengence, of these, in the new series.
so heres to the two ronnies, congradulations on their triumphant return to the smallscreen, and may we be blessed with their pleasing prescence on the television for many more years to come...
5 lisa newton-steele from clacton on sea: its great to see the Two Ronnies back on telly, it brings back such fond memories of sitting on the settee with my nan and grandad watching the show when i was five, I'm 31 now and they have both since passed away, but whenever i watch the two ronnies i smile and think of them.
4 PAULE from WEYMOUTH: It's great to see the Ronnies back on Saturday nights - memories of bath nights and drying in front of the telly, watching those two flow back. It's great to see early episodes too - only ever seem to see the same ones on other channels. Looking forward to seeing The Phantom Raspberry Blower and The Worm That Turned again !
My weekends have been brightened up once again.
3 brian morfey from portsmouth: They are the funniest comedy act ever! It will be nice to see them again on television after such a long absence from it. all the best for their return!
2 Alan Whitehead from Aberdeen: Hope the classic "Hardware Shop / Four Candles / Fork Handles" sketch (not sure the correct name) will be screened.
It's been years since I've seen it.
1 russ unsworth from manchester: Wow, Two Ronnies back on!...my dreams have come true..I would to see the chocolatey mousse sketch and the rochdale ringers song...mint!!
