26 Kevin Price from Bewdley, Worcestershire: I have just finished a 5 year epic rebuild of the 'original' 1962 Volvo P1800 used by Roger Moore is the first series of The Saint - ST 1 (used for filming) aka 71 DXC. Would be great to reunite Sir Roger with the car and also ITV re-run the early B&W episodes - some were real classics.
25 Geoff from Hampshire: The b/w Saint episodes are now out in a DVD Box Set...likewise The Colour ones too.
The older stories were more those Adapted from Leslie Charteris original book stories....I especially like "The Saint Plays with Fire" and the sci-fi tinged "The Inescapable Word"....
Earlier ones were not all crime capers ("The Golden Journey") - Cable Channel Bravo showed them all about 13 years back...
The colour ones were good too ("The Death Game" was not unlike Clint Eastwood's later film "The Dead Pool")
The last series had some great episodes like: "The Scales of Justice" and "The Organisation Man" too...
Roger Moore actually bought the original Saint car he drove as he liked it so much...so I read.
24 carol from South Shields: I would really like to see Danger UXB again because i really enjoyed the show and would love to see them again.
Ps i love Roger Moore
23 Andrew from Herts: Hey. What's with all the anti-colour vibes? Life is in colour. Always has been - no more so than in the sixties. Keep giving us those colour shots of sixties London. Simon's pad is fab.
22 Linda Kelly from Kent, UK: I am upset that only colour episodes of not only The Saint but other classic television is now shown. Can we have the black and white ones soon?
21 Afzal from West Yorkshire: I enjoyed watching the re-runs of the saint and would love to see the B/W episodes again. I especially wish to hear the theme tune which was changed for the colour episodes. If I may can I also mention some others which I would love to see because they are a childhood memory. Some have been shown.
Danger Man, UFO, Persuaders,
Randall and Hopkirk, The Baron, The Champions. As I am busy during the day and weekends, the best time to screen these would be at 10 or 11pm week days.
20 Andy from Manchester: yes please repeat the B&W episodes they are classics and need to be seen by everyone. Moore was great as the Saint and even though some of the stories are a little tame in content and action they were cutting edge at the time.Show them all again one episode every day and then repeat them again!!Ciao!
19 richard berger from new york: please let me know if the saint episodes are available for purchase on vhs tapes.thank you for your help.
18 allan from portslade/sussex: ITs great to see The Saint back on tv ,but could you rerun the black and white episodes again! also is the any chance in the future of running Dangerman again?
17 John Cope from Crewe: Do you intend showing the B/W episodes.
If so I will be really happy.
16 Roy Beck from London: My father was Roger Moore's stand-in in the early Saint episodes. I even appeared in one of them, The Golden Journey, along with my twin brother, as Spanish peasant boys (aged 10). Do show some earlier episodes though.
15 C Impey from Nottingham: Really enjoying the colour episodes currently showing. I'm in my early 30's so never saw them first time round, however can't be beaten by the Avengers or UFO. Would also love to see Man in a Suitcase and The Baron again - any chance?
14 Stephen Jowle from Chesterfield: Please show the episode called 'The Vendetta for The Saint'
13 Tony Snoad from Chelmsford Essex: Please please please put the black and white one's on again!!!!!
12 cliff from essex: let us have B/w shows
11 Nicholas Cox from Redhill Surrey: I like the current Saint Episodes, but feel that the Black & White Episodes, from the early 1960's had the best Plots. Roger looked fitter, and leaner, in them. I agree with Aaron about Sean being the best Bond, followed by Pierce, and about the1960's ITC Shows, particularly Dept S, less keen on Mr McGill though.
10 Peter Hill from Scarborough: I am now forty years old,I have been the No 1. fan of Roger Moore and The Saint since I was five years old. it is a fantastic programme and I have excellent memories of all the episodes
9 Shaun Baldwin from Leominster, Herefordshire: Please can you show the first series of "The Saint". Although they were in black & white, they seemed to have much better story lines. Perhaps because they were from the pen of "The Saint" creater, Leslie Charteris.
8 C PitchfordNewport from Newport Shropshire: Issss have been a fan of Rogers since he was in Ivanhoe . Iwould to see Ivanhoe again thank you for the Saint aaaaaaand Persuaders
7 Neil Moorcroft from London: Great to see the halo again. Any chance of the black and white episodes? And also any chance of The Avengers, especially Honor Blackman's seasons as Mrs Gale? :)
6 Martin Green from Somerset: I would also like to see repeats of my favourite show when I was a child; Ivanhoe - Also starring Roger Moore.
5 steve from derby: good to see the saint back would love to see some black and white shows and the avengers
4 Paul Broadhurst from East Sussex: I too would very much like to see the black & white series repeated. My favourite episode is a b & w one - 'The Crime of the Century', and I would enjoy seeing it once more.
3 Aaron Williams from United States: Roger Moore is by far the best of all the saints. Nobody can do it better than he can. I liked him in James Bond, but Sean is Bond in my book. He's a brilliant actor. Too bad that we all can't keep our youth and he could make more of the Saint. I like all saint episodes and movies. Hope they continue to keep the saint alive like James Bond.
2 Nick Donovan from Chester: Delighted you are showing The Saint again.
I love all those ITC shows from the 60's.
Bring back Man in a Suitcase & Jason King as well!
1 Rog Parsons from Hinckley, Leics: While I really thank you for showing 'The Saint' with Roger Moore again I do wish you'd show the first black & white episodes
which had some really good stories. Like The Avengers etc, these colour episodes were only seen originally in the 60's in black & white in the UK but kept folks in at night just the same.
