11 Judy LeMasters from USA: I'm a big fan of Trevor Bannister! When I came across the DVD set The Dustbinmen on line I ordered it. So happy I did! I love it!! Watch the episodes over and over. Wish there had been more!
10 Ian Allen from Milton Keynes, ex Radcliffe: I also remember this series and filming around Ainsworth Rd, Knowles St and Belgrave St. As kids we used to go up the railway cutting to the "Dano" where the dustbinmen's base was, as we had a hole in the fence where we explored the site on a Sunday. I certainly remember the series and would love to see it again.
9 Kelvin Trevail from Radcliffe Manchester: This was filmed in Radcliffe we as kids could see it being filmed round Dumers lane and Radcliffe baths. pritty cool for us kids

3 Richard Singleton from Stockport: My Mum wouldn't let me watch it (I was 9 when it started) too much bad language, and yet, I knew all the characters just from people at school talking about it. I seem to remember friends referring to Colin "pigging" Bell, which I believe was how one of the characters referred to the Man City midfielder.
2 alan maudsley from Brisbane ex manchester: Loved the scene where the young lad asked Eric if he had City on Thunderbird 3 coz he couldn't spell United or because he was a dustbinman and City was rubbish. Eric then chucked the lad in the back of the truck!
1 John Hutchinson from Leeds: The Dustbinmen is a true gem and one I very much remember from the original airings in 1969-70.
