81 Nicola from Preston,Uk: I have great childhood memories of watching this with my Nana, I now own all 12 seasons plus books, my nana now suffers with dementia and I watch murder, she wrote with her as therapy. She hums along to the theme tune its one of the few things she can remember now so I am greatful for the memories I have.
80 Melissa from Maine: I used to watch this with my grandmother when I was growing up. I am still a fan today and own all 12 seasons plus the 4 movie collection and half of the books and the video game. I am trying to start a collection of Murder, She Wrote items. "Has there been a murder?"
79 Barbara from Sacramento, California: I still miss this series. I guess I will have to buy all of the DVDs. I already have the first season. Sure wish it would come back. Matlock is still being shown. Why not Murder She Wrote????? Both were the best-produced series on TV.
78 Trudie Conner from Lexington, Ky: Have been a fan since her appearande in National Velvet with Elizabeth Taylor. I have eleven of the twelve episodes and watch them more now since they took the show ff the air. I especially liked "Mrs Harris goes to Paris," and "Shell Seeker". She showed her evil side in Manchurian Candidate. Her talent is boundless. I am pleased to counted among her thousands of fans. #1 or 1000, it doesn't make any differece.
77 Karina Verheezen from Holland: I've been a fan of Angela Lansbury since Gaslight! I am a bigger fan from the first murder she wrote... I wish I could write her directly to let her know there will never be a better Jessica then Angela!!!
76 Cynthia Kester from New Jersey: Since retiring, I spend at least two hours every day in my Cabot Cove room. . .my spare bedroom, watching Murder She Wrote DVDs.
Life IS good! Would love to find a watering can pin like Jessica wore. Any ideas?
75 Carl from england: when i first watched murder she wrote in 2004 i loved it and now ive got all the dvds thanks angela
74 Annie from Leeds UK: Graham Norton said watching MSW was like clean sheets after a warm bath. I agree. Wonderful actress and wonderful series. I am slowly collecting the sets.
73 Nita McKenzie from Kentucky: I always liked Angela Lansbury, but in the past several years I have noticed more because I have been stopped in the SuperMarket and in other places and was asked if anyone ever told me I looked like Murder She Wrote lady.
Therefore my granddaughter is having come as you are Movie Star Birthday Party and I am going as Angela Lansburg and think I can pull it off quiet well. Thanks Angela for being such a wonderful actress.

69 Colin Grieve from Hawick: Jessica is a true legend. I even called my car after her!!!!!!
68 TRUDIE CONNER from LEXINGTON, KY: I have been a fan since Episode 1. I own 8 of the 11 seasons so far. I especially like the episodes that take place in Cabot Cover, although i understand the reasoning behind branching out to other locations. i come from a small New England town but only so much can happen before you run out of citizens. She made the show anything but boring. i just wished it ran longer. I enjoy the reruns and watch them every night between 11 and 1pm. Her kind of talent is rare but she has left us a wealth of her talent in all the movies she appeared in.
67 Rev. Robert T. Walters from New Jersey: These magnificent books are really true to life. I only wish there were more of them both as books and dvd. Will write more later. Glad I found this forum. Bob
66 Aleksandara from Moscow: I have been watching murder she wrote eveer since i can remember. when i lived in russia i watched it dubbed in russian and now i am in ireland i watch it in enlglish. i have seen almost every episode but still enjoy it every time it is on. Angela Lansbury is the most fantastic actress and she is the perfect Jessica Fletcher. i really hope that murder she wrote will never be remade but will stay the classic it is forever.
65 A from Salem Oregon: I love Murder, She Wrote! I just wish it was on more often and that my local video rental store carried it.
64 Michelle O Shea from Co.Cork, Ireland: I am 19 years old and just love Murder she wrote and Angela Lansbury. I think she is the best actress ever and is wonderfully talented. I am her biggest fan ever. I love any thing she is in.
63 RACHEL ATTWOOD from COVENTRY, WEST MIDLANDS: There is nothing I like better than to watch anything Angela Lansbury does, " Murdered she wrote " is time less and is wonderful to watch. Both my children Philippa & Peter love to watch Murder she wrote, so thank you Angela for all your acting skills.
62 duch mendoza-coduco from qc, philippines: i miss the tv series! i was watching this way back in highschool. our local tv networks dont show 'em anymore =( i've just started collecting the books, i already have 7 of them. i wish to collect them all but its kindda hard finding these books in our place. anyway, thanks to the staff, casts, and all thos who made MURDER SHE WROTE one helluva show. im ur #1 fan in the philippines!
61 Lauren from Memphis: MUUURDER, Is the greatest show in the universe. I love watching it with my husband. I am always the first one to figure out who the killer is. It makes me feel really good. Thank you JB, for all the wonderful years.
60 Tera Miller from Kansas USA: I Love ALL Episodes That Len Cariou Guest starred as Michael Haggerty and Jerry Orbach Guest Starred as Harry McGraw The cemestry was really there (Wish there were more of them), However ALL The Episodes are really great and and I love All of Angelas work both on and off screen She was and still is a great actress and producer, i always look forwards to watching them when they air.
59 Beth Cornell from USA: I just loved the way she always seemed to know what was going on before anyone else did. MY favorite episodes were the Cabot Cove, ME and NY City eps.
58 jessica from north carolina: hello my favorite thing about you is that im named after your tv character Jessica Fletcher
57 S Goodson from W Sussex: I absolutely love Angela Lansbury, remember when she played Elvis's mum in Blue Hawaii even though she was just a few years older!? This program was tailor made for her gentle style of acting, it's like a cup of cocoa and warm blanket...great stuff. Never miss it even though i have seen them many times..classic.
56 John Rees from Ystradgynlais: Really enjoying the repeats of the show. I tape it to watch in the evenings after a hard day teaching, fondly remembering Saturday nights long gone.
55 amy pledger from colchester: this is so strange. there is a lady with the same name as me who oviously loves jessica as much as i do!!
54 Linda Shepherd from Rotherham: I thoroughly enjoy the series, although it is a murder series, anyone can watch it as the violence is minimal and not gratuitous as in alot of crime dramas made now.
53 Donna Williams from Cardiff South Wales: My favourite memory from Murder She Wrote is my mum allowing me to stay up late as a treat and watch Murder She Wrote i loved it and still do i tape some of them. I think it is a brillent show even now!
52 Sharon from weston-super-Mare: Great Murder She Wrote has come back. Keep it going!!! Keep the Season going up!!!
51 Max Pemberton from UK: In 'Sing a Song of Murder' (season 2)Jessica's cousin (Lansbury) sings 'Little Yellow Bird' - this was the same song she sang in 'A Picture of Dorian Gray' in 1945 for which she got an Academy Award nomination.
50 Alexandra from Seattle, WA: I religiously watch Murder, She Wrote every Monday because it is my day off. I like how you portray a little snooping old lady with amazing detection skills :) I don’t think I will ever tire of watching this show.
49 GW Thomson from Scotland: I am now missing Jessica in the afternoons so much. Why stop and make true fans suffer? I remember growing up with Murder, She Wrote and there ain't no better mystery writer/crime solver than JB Fletcher.
48 David James from West Wales: I must say that I have enjoyed watching Murder, She Wrote it is a great pity that you have stopped putting it on in the afternoons. Also I think that all the cast in the show are great and the story lines are always very interesting and sometimes can have you on the edge of your seat.
47 Mark Hyder from London: I remember watching Murder, She Wrote when I was a kid. She never missed any info to find the killer.
46 Linda T. Jackson from Arcata, CA: Jessica:
I remember one episode when you had a bad back and you were in bed all the time. You had listened in on a conversation that involved a murder at midnight. So, you were trying to convince the police that the murder was going to happen, but it hadn't happen yet. Your nephew Grady was there to take care of you.
Jessica, I enjoy watching how you solve the murder. I think what your famous line is: I think I know who the murderer is?
45 Lynn from New Hampshire, USA: Hi -
I have a question I need to have answered: Does Jessica Fletcher have children? I know she is a widow, but I believe I saw an episode where she mentions her son and daughter...? Can anyone verify that? I think the episode where she says this has to do with a military plane crash/cover up investigation . Thank you for your help!
44 Adam Miller from Alma, Michigan: My favorite Murder she Wrote moment is watching the way that Jessica interacts with all people expecially her friends. When I watch the show I imagine that I could someday live in a town like Cabot Cove where people know each other and older citizens are respected. I love the way the towns people respect Doc Haslett and Miss Fletcher and I love the warm feeling the show is able to give you even though every episode is about a murder.
43 Thea smith from England: A Message to Jenny Wyatt.I have the information you wanted in the episode ''suspicion of murder''. Dennis Cole played Ryan Donovan. He also plays in another episode called,''Menace,Anyone''.hope this was helpful to you. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with these's two episode.''
Bite the Big Apple
Incident in Lot 7
I would be very greatful for anyone who as these's two episode's.I'm willing to pay.thanks Thea.
42 Sheryl Knowles from Nova Scotia Canada: My daughters love this show. They love the marathons where they run all day long. Is there anywhere we can buy a series of shows on DVDs? If not now, do you know if this will be available in the near future?
41 Jenny Wyatt from West Midlands: Hi
I tape the re-runs of Murder She Wrote as there's not much to watch on TV in the evenings! One episode I saw last week was called "Suspicion of Murder" starring Keith Michell. What I would like to know is the name of the guy who played Ryan Donovan. He didn't have a very large part but was a tennis pro (or something like that). If anyone can help I would be grateful.
40 Austin Whitcher from Bournemouth: I love every single moment it is my favourite show on t.v.
Many thanks
Austin .
39 vicky from liverpool: i LOVE msw, am such a huge fan, but why cant the schedulers just leave it alone- 2pm,3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 12pm, 8pm, 11am, then not on for weeks. What's going on?
38 calsey n ema from fan club isle: y o y hav u taken away da rest of da msgs???

37 Chuck Yaeger from Duluth, GA 30097: Ep. #17 "Footnote to Murder"
is introduced musically by a
composition written by the
composer of "MSW" theme.
Who was it and what is the title of the composition?
36 marty north from warrenton, oregon: I was a faithful viewer of Murder She Wrote for the whole time it was on the air. I still watch the reruns when possible. I must admit my favorite episodes took place in Cabot Cove.
I would like to receive e-mail about MURDER, SHE WROTE.
THANK YOU
35 michael from sunt elluns: thank you terreh for your suggestion to have one big fan club, but im afraid its not possible. you see, all the musrder, she wrote fans will compete to be the biggest fan anyway making the fanclub pointless...
34 Terry from Hampshire: I wont pretend to be the biggest Murder, She Wrote fan here. Dont get me wrong, I love the show, but cant we all just be one big fanclub instead of all trying to be a number one fan? Things would be a lot easier that way. Anyway, at the moment I have collected all 19 of the Murder, She wrote novels by Mr Donald Bain and, of course our fav, Jessica Fletcher. I am also halfway through the VHS collection of the show. 18 tapes, to be exact. Also, as i'm sure all of you out there are, I am waiting for the show to be released in DVD format(sorry to those of you who do not have DVD players. I'm not here to make enemies).
Jessica is one of my fav tv detectives hitting the number one spot with, just one more thing ma'am, COLUMBO. I hope this 'one big fan club' thing picks up. See you all later MSW Fans. Keep Sleuthing.
33 Shelia Lakins from Morristown, Tennessee: Murder She Wrote is one of my all time favorite shows. I am a big fan of Angela Lansburg. I have seen her on more shows than just MSW. I think she is a fine actor and I have found some of her books to read I can just see her and hear her as I read the books. I also enjoy Tom Bosley and William
Windom. I have never personally celeberty, but she would be my number one pick to meet. She would be to me a warm, down to earth loving person.
32 Leanne from St. Helens: I would like to inform emma and kelli that not all of Jessica's fans are able to use the internet and so cannot post wonderful tributes... And how many people actually live on the Isle of Wight?? Not enough to class as a fanclub... And I wonder, have you ever read any of the books (that is if you know what books are), and declared your love for all things Jessica Fletcher/Murder, She Wrote/Angela Lansbury related openly in public?? I wouldn't say that I was her greatest fan, but I would say I pay more attention to other things then just posting tributes. Oh and speaking of tennis, there was a veray stylish episode which involved a tennis tournament... but still, not one of the best episodes... May Jessica give you all happy dreams...
31 Michael from sunt elluns: I would like to say that i, (and my friend) are the biggest fans of murder, she wrote and anyone who claims to be (yes you emmeh and helleh) are just amatures. Does anyone else watch this show religiously twice a day? does anyone else have a bedroom with a giant angela lansbury poster on the wall? No, therefore i am angela lansburys biggest fan, and i would like to ask emmeh and kelleh to stop making false accusations
30 emma&kelli from Isle of Wight: We are surly to be Jessica Fletchers Biggest Fans!!!!Why we Have left many more messages on this site then anybody who claims they live for Murder she wrote. It is a proven fact the population of the Isle of Wight is just one giant fan club for the show.So all you alleged fans, put that in your pipe and smoke it!!!!if you are a true fan, feel free to move to our island of joy!!!we are depressed the show has been posponed for stupid tennis!!who in there right mind would rather watch a bouncing ball&RACKET,than the great murder detctive of the world,J.B.Fletcher!!!We are writing this on behalve of our m.s.w island fanclub!!!!2 register in the truest fanclub of j.b.f,email,Bettyboop_laa@hotmail.com. and don't 4get you must be a citizen or intendind to be one,to join.thanx!!!!! luv the j.b,m.s.w club xxxxxx

28 bennie williams from st petersburg fla: they should keep murder she wrote on the air angela
lansbury is excellent its
better then some other
shows onthe air.
27 karine from: I like very much angela lansbury and murder, she wrote
26 Laura from mn.: I love the show, all of them but esspecially the first years of murder she wrote. I guess the mysteries and the country theme and her house for the show was so nice and homey! I guess everything about it. I have alot of respect for everything she has done.
25 mike mcdonnell from camberley surrey: i just love murder she wrote, i think angela lansbury is great, i can,t remember the name of the episode, all i remember is it was set in a hotel, a man had been stabbed from behind, when jessica whos played by angela lansbury came to the hotel, she stood behind a policeman and showed the rest of the police who the man was stabbed, i just hope they put that episode on again
mike
24 Richard from Isle of Wight: I love Murder she wrote, i think its fab. Jessica is so good at solving crimes!! But how come some old writer is allowed to snoop around in the polices murder investigation? Dont the police get angry that they are supposed to be solving the crimes when some old author can come and solve the crime instantly, strange! Also, I severly doubt Jessica Fletcher has any police training to solve these crimes- she is just some goody-goody-boffin that pokes her nose in where it is not wanted. But I still love the show!!
23 Wanda from Nissequogue, N.Y.: Enjoy the Murder She Wrote episodes tremendously. Wish the special episodes were televised again, for those of us who missed some of them. Also wish there could be a contunuation of this series, with perhaps a niece or nephew of Jessica playing the sleuth. Even the reruns are still the best thing on tv.
22 Emma + Emma from Isle of Wight: we think murder she wrote is great. everyday i get home from school and watch it. But why does someone die where ever she goes???? and why is she allowed to just walk into a murder scene????? Jessica fletcher is an annoyingly nosy old bag!!! but she is a legend, with her stupid coat and clicky little shoes. we love J.B.fletcher!!!!
21 michael from st helens: I have been reading some tributes on this webpage and I am deeply touched by Debbie's story. Yet I do take offence at Jessie being called a 'nosy old bag', however, I would like to see more episodes of murder, she wrote being broadcast - at better times please!!
20 lee smith from dorset: i love jessie cos i read the book on murder she wrote every day and watch murder she wrote every day to i like when jessica dress up and acts as another she is fab please let them put on all the reast of murder she wrote i love them and so does my mum and her boyfriend angela you are one lucky ladyxx
19 Debbie from Indiana: Dad and I would always watch the show then call each other the next day to see if the other had seen it and just have a grand old time talking about it which in turn led to a really great talk. We lived in different cities then and about 5-6 hours apart.
Later in the shows run, my son and I would watch the show on Sunday nights all cuddled up together on the couch. He was in elementary school at the time. My Dad had long since passed away but the memories of both my Dad and son (now 16) still live in my heart.
18 Elizabeth from LIvingston, NJ USA: I really enjoy the episode "Armed Response." That is the episode where Jessica fractures her leg. And winds up hospitalized. I think she is so good.
17 june elley from canada: I love the episodes done in Ireland - especially Nan's Ghost. I was born in Ireland so it was fun to watch! Can't wait to see the new movie - also Irish!!
16 Michael from England: I would like to inform leanne that I am Angela Lansbury's greatest ever fan. I respect her and all the great work she has done in her career, and look forward to forth-coming work Angela will do. I do not doubt that Leanne is a good fan of Angela but I feel I can connect to Angela and some characters she has played throughout her wonderful career.
P.S I would like to point out that Leanne (the spelling perfectionist) has spelt the word 'think' (or at least I hope it means that...) as 'fink'. Don't quit the day job leanne...
15 Leanne from England: I am shocked that Michael claims that he is Angela's biggest fan. I would just like to point out that if he did 'lurve' her so much then he would take some common courtesy and spell correctly! I would like to challenge him as I fink I am her biggest fan. My favourite part of Murder, She Wrote is all of it, but I especially like the beginning and the theme tune. Keep solving those murders Jessica!!
14 Michael from England: hey i just wanna say that i am angela's BIGGEST fan! I luuuuurve her and have done since i was 4 (apparently). I'm now 15 and still lurve the show!!!
13 thea smith from weymouth, dorset: I watch jessica every day. she is a great lady. all the episodes are my favoute. i do hope they keep showing murder she wrote on tv. i just brought her murder she wrote books and they are great. wish angela all the best.
12 angie from canada: I loved all the Murder, She Wrote episodes, but my favourites were those that starred "Michael Haggerty", "Dennis Stanton", and I particularly thought "From Russia with Blood" was particularly well written and well acted. I saw all the shows and now I'm watching them again. Great series!
11 Daniel B from Australia: Hi! I've been searching for ages to try and find the episode titles in which two stand-out memories I have of the show are featured: 1) One is where Jessica searches through some backstage props on shelves or something, and finds some sort of wires, and they turn out to be the main clue in the murder; and 2) This one is where there's some sort of formal party in a nice mansion-like house, I think near the ocean, and there is this Mediterranean house on the hill with steps leading up to it, and in it Jess finds a big belt buckle burnt up in the fireplace belonging to a woman from the party who turned out to be the murderer?
10 leanne from england: :o i loveeee jessica!!! and of course angela...
9 lee from weymouth, dorset: I am a teenage and i love watching murder, she wrote everyday. one of my favourite is "It runs inthe family with jessica cousin Emma. my mum and I love her too bits. we dont like her getting upset or hurt,it upset us too. she is a great woman. bestever detective series on tv. my mum saids thank you for putting her series back on again on BBC1. we wish Angela all our best.
8 Richard from weymouth, dorset: I watched murder, she wrote since the series started. my favourite ones was when she played with Micheal haggery. my funnyist scene was when she got wet through at the end of the episode "Dead letter". Angela would you please do the new miss marple series.
7 Gemma from Hillingdon: My mum and I are huge fans of the show. I remember watching it when I was little and we used to watch it whenever it was on. Angela Lansbury is brilliant and I love her Sheriff friends! Great to see the classic episodes again!
6 Michelle Moseley from Kidsgrove: I have watched Murder She Wrote for a long time, bought the jigsaws. I always liked Angela Lansbury because she always keeps me glued to Murder she Wrote as she always makes her characters look so real. and she does a brilliant job. Keep up the great work Angela.
5 Thea smith from Weymouth,Dorset: I love murder, she wrote and a big fan of angela and my son lee.we are always watching her epsiodes everyday.it would be great if she could of done some more.I feel shes part of the family. and we love her, shes brillant.
4 William Fitzgerald from Tipperary, Ireland: I am a teenager from the south of Ireland and despite Murder She Wrote being looked on as an 'old-persons programme', I thoroughly enjoy it. It is a firm favourite of mine, brought alive by the superb acting talents of Lansbury and crew and in my opinion, the best detective series to ever grace our screens.
3 michael: hello. my fav one from murder she wrote, was the one when some one stood behind a man and stabbed him, outside a door in the hotel, when angela came to solve the murder, when she got one of the poilce men stood behind him to show how the person was murdered
2 T. Martin from South Tyneside: I've watched Murder She wrote from the very beginning and still thoroughly enjoy the show today. I drive my family mental as I've always referred to Angela Lansbury's character as 'Aunt Jess'. I would dearly love an aunt just like her and perhaps I would be able to help in solving those murder mysteries! Keep up the good work Angela!
1 Sian Chandler from Romford, Essex: Murder, she wrote is good i am a big fan well you could say the number 1 fan.
