Inspector Morse Fan Tributes
1 Joe Posner from San Jacinto, CA: When I first encountered "Inspector Morse," in the early '90s, it just didn't grab me. Maybe it was the pacing, maybe it was the older, white-haired hero. I eventually decided it was "old fogey" programming, and tuned out.
Recently. I re-encountered "Morse" in the video store, in the MYSTERIES section. I decided to give it another shot. Boy was I surprised!
I now like the pacing and really relate to the "older" hero. Maybe it's because I'm white-haired now too! In any case, I'm hooked and now plan to see all the episodes.
My only complaint with the show is that all of Inspector Morse/John Thaw's on screen beer drinking makes me REALLY thirsty. I've found, however, that if I drink a brewski along with Morse, problem solved!
