In Loving Memory Fan Tributes16 tony blakemore from deniliquin NSW Australia: Absolutely love the show but I have despaired of finding the pilot episode from 1969.
15 wendy sumnerDevon from Devon: Billy 'enshaw standing in a cupboard naked covering his privates with a cullender. Chris Beeney was a friend of my parents and grand parents. Made a film called johnny with them. Chris was not cheeky so surprised he ever did this scene.
14 norma from west yorkshire: Great comedy great timing, when news of death, therefore business, came over the telephone - no actress on earth could have said "oh I AM sorry" in quite the well times and hillarious way Thora Hird did, the bonus for me was she reminded me of my auntie winnie who had a telephone voice of a similar kind! Dame Thora hird was great always we have much to thank her for and the rest of the cast were good too its the best kind of comedy a group of actors well times working together.
13 doreen jones from skelmersdale: bedroom scene were the bed collapses that was hilarious very very funny
